The 11th annual Mamone Funwalk takes place on 25 December 2026, starting at 5:30 AM. The route runs from Sekwati Sports Complex to Mokwenameetse in Mamone, Sekhukhune District, Limpopo.
The route is 10KM, a fun walk/run suitable for all fitness levels. Whether you walk, jog or run, the goal is simply to finish together.
Registration is completely FREE. Everyone is welcome, adults, kids, families and friends.
Yes! Kids aged 2 to 15 can participate. When you register, tick the "I am registering with a kid (or kids)" option and enter each child's name and age. Kids must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the event.

Please arrive by 5:00 AM so we can do a quick welcome and safety briefing before the walk starts at 5:30 AM
Yes, parking is available near Sekwati Sports Complex.
Yes. We have marshals along the entire route, and medical staff/first responders are on standby. In case of an emergency, on-site staff are permitted to administer basic first aid and arrange transport to a local health facility if needed.
Yes! During and After the walk, enjoy live music, food stalls, health exhibitions and prize giveaways. Bring your friends and family, it's a true community celebration.
Yes. Event photography and videography will be captured for promotional and community outreach purposes. By registering, participants (and guardians of minors) consent to this.
